TAKE THE CROSS

Knights are the most dedicated, full fledged members of the fraternity. If you are truly serious about advancing in the spiritual life and placing all your labors of your law enforcement career at the service of God, this is for you. For entrance as a knight, one must do the following: - keep St. Michael's Lent, a 40 day fast from the feast of the Assumption to the feast of St. Michael (August 15th-September 29th) - complete the 8 day consecration to St. Michael (purchase book from Angelus Press) - on the final day, keep an all night vigil in penance and preparation - be dubbed a knight by a priest using the traditional dubbing rite in the Roman Pontificale Knights also commit to certain continuing disciplines: - pray the chaplet of St. Michael at least once a week for the fraternity, its members, all enrollees of the purgatorial society, all our families, and all members of law enforcement - fast on fridays in reparation for unjust laws and policies, and the rejection of the Social Kingship of Christ in our country - make part of every shower cold in reparation for all the sins of members of law enforcement and for their conversion - keep a "Catholic Strong" Lent based on the practices of our forefathers (further details will be in the Telegram chat) - daily rosary - regularly train in a legitimate martial art - if possible organize local cohorts of fraternity members for support and expanded outreach Not for the faint of heart. However, none of these promises bind under pain of sin.

Auxiliaries are members of the fraternity who either are in law enforcement but not disposed to become knights, or those not in the law enforcement profession who wish to support the work of the fraternity. Auxiliaries promise to pray the chaplet of St. Michael at least once a week for the intentions of the fraternity, for its members, families, and enrolled deceased, and for the success of the apostolate. They further commit to the Friday fast in reparation for our country's unjust laws and police department policies and for the rejection of the Kingship of Christ. Again, these promises do not bind under pain of sin.

Enrollees are those who are enrolled in the fraternity's purgatorial society. The fraternity accepts the names of any deceased members of law enforcement or their close family, as well as deceased soldiers and their close family. Enrollees are benficiaries of the spiritual fruits of the fraternity, being on the recieving end of prayers and sacrifices, as well as Masses offered up by our Chaplains. Names of enrollees will also be forwarded to the Rorate Caeli Purgatorial Society to benefit from their prayers, sacrifices and Masses as well.

Chaplains are members of the clergy who are associated with the fraternity in varying degrees. Priests will offer up Masses for the fraternity's intentions, the temporal and spiritual welfare of its members, and for the deceased enrollees. They also hear confessions, administer the dubbing rite to make knights, and preach spiritual retreats/conferences focused on spiritual warfare, the virtues, and the aspects of the Faith most needed for the law enforcement profession. God willing, we hope to eventually recieve the blessing and support of bishops, princes of the Church who in no small part are responsible for helping to organize her defense and shepherd her flocks against the wolves.
